NTTA DEBUTS TWO NEW DALLAS NORTH TOLLWAY VIDEO ANIMATIONS

PLANO, Texas – May 19, 2016 – Drivers can now see what the Dallas North Tollway will look like when addition of a fourth lane is complete. NTTA is making DNT improvements to ease current congestion during peak drive times from Interstate 635 north to the Sam Rayburn Tollway.

The latest section of construction, from just south of the President George Bush Turnpike to Belt Line Rd., is featured in two new videos that are so realistic, viewers will feel like they are actually on the roadway or flying just above it.

For safety during construction, roadway signage has been changed to reflect the lowered speed limit of 55 mph in this area, which will be enforced throughout construction. “Once completed, this project will significantly provide a benefit to drivers,” said NTTA Assistant Executive Director of Infrastructure Elizabeth Mow. “We appreciate our customers’ increased attention within work zones.” For more information about DNT, President George Bush Turnpike and Sam Rayburn Tollway widening projects, visit ProgressNTTA.org.
